Just finished with...

...family devotion and thought I'd post a quick one.

This morning Chandler and I went to pick up his car from the place that fixed it....this time. We have had so much trouble out of that car. We have put way too much money into it but what do ya do? You can't sell it not running, right? When it broke down this time, Steve said...."O.K. this time we sell it!". Well, after having it fixed, we don't know whether to sell it or keep it. We don't know if this time it will go forever or break down again. So, we came up with a solution. Steve put it on Craigslist tonight at a higher selling price than even we bought it for. And, we are praying becasue the Lord is the only one who knows if we should get rid of it or not. Our prayer is....if it sells for the higher amount, then we sell it. If it does not sell for the higher amount, we keep it. We don't come down past a specific price, therefore we know we should keep it. Who knows? Just have to trust the Lord on it.

I ran errands today. Paid bills. Went to the bank. Went to Kohls and spent a gift card that I got for Christmas. I got a $50 picture frame for 60% off. I only paid $19.99. And, it's a big one, a 11x14. I have this great picture of my kids and my brothers kids that I needed a frame for. It looks so good. I now have it hanging in my family room.

Tomorrow I need to clean my house. We are not having service at church tomorrow night so I decided to have a band service here at the house. In case you are not familar with a band service, it's on the lines of a prayer service with a smaller group of people. The church membership is broken down into smaller groups and have monthly meetings. We "band" together in prayer and devotion and such. Should be fun. We are gonna have a good season of prayer for the new year and something else on the lines of new years resolutions. (I don't want to tell what it is cause I don't want to give it away until after tomorrow night). And, we are gonna eat Mexican food. And, of course, play catch phrase. (I keep saying.."And"..) That has become our regular band service game.

Until next time...

Christmas stuff continued

You need to read my previous post before you read this one if you haven't casue this one just continues from before.

O.K. I think I was up to Christmas morning. It was fantastic, as always. I love my gifts, all of them. But, one of my favorites was my trash can. Yep, that's right. My trash can. For years, I've had this pitiful looking white trash can that was in a cabnit. I would have to take the trash out at least twice a day because it was so small. I used the tall kitchen size bags that were taller than the trash can, so I ended up wasting about half of the trash bag. But not anymore.....I got this beautiful stainless steel/black one that matches my kitchen. It is almost twice the size of the dinky white one. The tall kitchen bags actually fit so no more wasting the trash bag. I'm so happy with it. And, it sits right out in the open not under the cabnit. For 5 years the old one has been in the same place so every time any of us go to throw something away, we go to the old place, not where the new one is. We will probably do that for months. All four of us do it. And, it's funny, you always know who goes to the old trash can spot, cause whoever it is says....AH, MAN....how long am I gonna do that?" It's funny. Probably sometime this summer we will get use to where the new one is.

So, ya wanna see it? Here it is.....

And, the old ugly one.....

Much better huh?
So, after we open our gifts we get ready and head over to Steve's family. We rotate houses and this year we were at Denise's house (Steve's sister). Guess what we had for Christmas dinner?
Nope...not turkey and ham and dressing.
We had lasagna. Yep, regular lasagna and chicken lasagna. Yummy...good! It was a great day.
I was really excited about what we got my mother-in-law for Christmas. Her grandkids call her Mimi. There is this cafe in Murfreesboro that is called "Mimi's Cafe". Steve had the idea of taking a picture of the sign out front and framing it for her to hang in her kitchen. Isn't that too cool? So, we did. Denise took the picture for us, she's the photographer in the family, and a good one at that. And, I got a nice frame with a mat. It turned out really good. So, now Barbara (Steve's mom) has a picture in her kitchen that says..."Mimi's Cafe"....pretty clever, I thought!
Then on Friday, we went to Portland and spent the day with my dad's family. I think it was the best Christmas we've ever had up there. It was just fun!

All in all, it has been a GREAT Chirstmas!
I'm blessed.... very, very, blessed!!!!!!!!

Christmas stuff

Christmas Eve at my parents house......The Best! This year was extra fun and exciting because of my nephew, Tristan. He is two and a half and boy did he make that night special. My mom always does stockings for the 5 grandkids first. When Tristan got his, he pulled the stuff out and got to some match box cars. HE WENT NUTS with excitement. I'm not kidding you. There are no words to describe how excited he got, but I'll try......

He saw the cars and his eyes got huge and he started squeeling and jumping up and down saying..."Nanny, Nanny, Nanny.....look...cars....cars.....cars, Nanny. " Then he runs and leaps into her arms with a huge hug. IT WAS PRICELESS!!!!!!

From there, every gift that he got, he did the same thing, hugging whoever was the closest to him. The night and the gifts became about him. AH! It was soooooo sweet.

We had so much good food at my mom's. She had this new desert thingy that someone had made for them while on one of their Georgia trips.....YUMMY! It had grapes, condensed milk, nuts, and I think brown sugar. I can't really remember but it was oh so good. I had 2 helpings, and I think Les had 3. ha!

Christmas morning, of course, we have our Christmas. The 4 of us. And, yet again, it was wonderful. We have had a tradition since the kids were little that they sleep in our floor on Christmas Eve night. Just so we can all be together. Morgan has no problem with it at all. Chandler doesn't have a problem with it either, he just really likes his bed. lol. And, he's 16 now. But, just for his momma, he did it. They both made a pallet in our floor. AH! I loved it. About 5ish, I wake up with Chandler standing over me, wide awake, saying...."can we just get up now?.....I cannot sleep....I've been up since 4 something (I think). Bless his heart, that floor was miserable, I guess. HA! I told him to go get in his bed for a while until we got up. He didn't even say a word, just grabbed his pillow and went up. I have to give him credit for trying to sleep in the floor. Later after we got up, he said he could not sleep. He had even gotten up to watch some T.V. before he woke me up. Poor thing. But, he did it just for me. What a kid!

So, I would continue but Rick just texted me and we are meeting them for Mexican. So, I will continue my Christmas talk next time.......

IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE

YAH! It's Christmas Eve. I love it!!!!! So far today, I stayed in bed until 9 this morning. I've done some cleaning in the house and some laundry. Oh my goodness....speaking of laundry, let me share what I did.....I'm getting so old or something....Vic, you will love this one.

I washed a whole load of laundry this morning with NOTHING in the washing machine. LOL! I put the detergent in, started the water....and that 's it...HA! I went to put my liquid fabric softner in when it was time for the rince cycle, I opened the lid, looked in and thought..."what in the world?!" I put my hand down in there and there was nothing in it except water and suds. I totally forgot to put the clothes in. HAhahahahahaha!!!! Now, that 's bad.

Here shortly, Lynn, me and Steve are gonna go for a run. How's that for dedication, on Christmas Eve?!

And then tonight at 6pm....I will be where I have been for the past 40 years on Christmas Eve (except for the one year after Brad's accident, then we were at my Nanny's house). My favorite place to be on Christmas Eve....my parent's house. I love this night! Really, with all my heart, I love this night. It's special. With our traditions of me reading the Christmas story from the Bible, and then all of us getting in a circle, holding hands and sharing what we are most thankful for this past year. It never fails, we cry. Most all of us, we cry. But, I love it! I have the BEST family in this world. Ah! Thank you, Jesus!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If you have Jesus in your life, truly, you have so much to be thankful for. And, if for some reason, you don't have Jesus, you don't know what your missing. I can't imagine any day with out Him and especially Christmas. He IS Christmas!!!!!

love you all!

Busy-ness

Saturday night was the "ugly sweater" party. This was a party Erika had while she was in town. Morgan took pictures so I will have to get her to post some for me. My mom won the "ugly sweater" contest. When you see her picture, you will know why. It was super great visiting with Erika this past weekend. I wish with all my heart they lived here. Kailee and Maddie got to participate in the children's Christmas program and they did a great job. Kailee even had some lines that she had been practicing and she did it like a pro. So cute. Also, the children at Antioch have been practicing the "bell choir" for several months and they played Joy to the World. Kailee practiced one time with them and did it like she had been doing it the whole time. She was even telling the other kids when it was their turn. It was so cute.

This morning when I went to clean my Monday house, they had left me a Christmas gift. A very pretty candle arrangement. Not only that, but she had added an extra $25 to what I normally get. It was super nice. I really did appreciate it.

Tonight we went over to Jeff and Laura's house for Christmas. For years, we have gotten together with them. They are like family! It's a tradition that will last forever. Our families share a special bond that has come from the Lord!

Can you believe it's the week of Christmas?! I'm excited! I love it!

Oh yeah, Bradley is CONSISTANTLY drinking from a straw. I know that may not seem like a big deal, but it is. It's progress. Until now, he couldn't do it consistantly. It was just too hard for him. But, I thank the Lord for any progress. Please keep praying for him. I know it's been a while, BELIEVE ME, we know...but I don't want people to forget to pray becasue it has been a long time. I know life does go on for everyone, but please don't forget.

I'm still believing with all my heart for that miracle! That Complete Miracle!!!!!

Making a list and checking it twice

Man, from now until after Christmas is gonna be a whirl wind. Today, Morgan and I have to be at the church for the children's christmas party and play practice. Then we have to stop at the Goodwill for our "ugly sweaters". Then we get to show off our "ugly sweaters".

Steve and Chandler went to Knoxville today. The Vols are playing Belmont in Basketball. They were super exctited about this. Belmont is where Steve graduated from and where Chandler wants to go to college and the Vols are their favorite college team. So, who do they cheer for? They will have fun!

Tomorrow, of course, is church with tomorrow night being the Children's Christmas program. Monday evening we have a traditional gathering with some friends. Tuesday, I think I'm baking with Lynn. And, Wednesday, is Christmas Eve. Good Grief!!!!! Where did the month of December go? That's what makes me sad, it goes by wwwwwwaaaaaayyyyy to fast.

Anyway, I've gotta run.....and I don't think I'm stopping until 2009.

Headaches are NOT my friend

Although I have eliminated chocolate and it has helped my headaches tremendously....there are still those times that I get slapped pretty hard with one. I woke up early yesterday morning with what felt like jack hammers going off in my brain. I got up and took some Excedrine migraine and went back to sleep only to wake up and still have that stinkin thing. I had several people pray for me and it did ease up a bit only to come back later in the afternoon. By last night, I was miserable...again. Steve wondered if it was a sinus headache?! hmmmm, I didn't think of that.

We had some Tylenol Sinus. I took it and within about 30 minutes, my head was much better. When I woke up this morning, it was screaming at me again. I figured it was sinus related since the sinus medication worked last night. Bad thing about it, I didn't have any more. So, I went to the Dollar General to get some. Sure enough, it worked. I had no idea these headaches were sinus related. Anyway, I'm just glad it's better.

Every year around Christmas, my Nanny likes to have the family over at her house for dinner. We don't do any gifts, that's only for Christmas Eve at Momma's. We just get together and eat. Tonight is that night.

This is going to be a very busy weekend. Rather than tell everything now, I'll just try and post each day so I have something to post about.

Oh, Chandler's car broke down AGAIN! Stupid car! Steve is WAY over putting money into this car. This time we are selling it and going to get him something else. Back to the auciton with Rick, I guess.

Have a good Friday....

They almost got me

Last night the youth got together and hung out at Emily's apartment.  Chandler called to make sure it was O.K. for Josh to stay the night at our house.  Of course.  A few minutes later Morgan called to see if she could go stay the night with Andrea.  Sure.

A little while later, the front door bell rings.  Why Morgan doesn't carry her house key is beyond me.  Anyway, I open the front door and Morgan has this "look" on her face and says....."momma, Cha got pulled over".    "what, are you serious?".   "Yes, I promise, he got pulled over.  He and Josh are coming right behind us".  "Did he get a ticket?"  "I'm not saying anything, ask him."

Chandler and Josh are walking up the sidewalk.  I say to him....."Did you get a ticket?"

Let me say here.....we've told him that if he ever gets a speeding ticket that his car keys are ours for a while.

He doesn't say anything, he just hands his keys to me.  "CHANDLER"!!!!!

By this point, all 4 of them...Morgan, Andrea, Chandler and Josh are in the house.  I look over at Josh and he's laughing.  I thought he was laughing AT Cha for getting a ticket.  Cha thought he was laughing because he couldn't "keep it up".  They were pulling one over on me, and I must say...."they got me"

AH!  Yes, he did get pulled over but it was not for speeding.  Come to find out, your not suppose to drive in the left lane unless you are passing another car.  Chandler did not know this.  When the police officer asked Chandler if he was aware of this and Cha told him no, he just said..."well, don't do it again."

It scared Chandler to death.  For real...it scared him silly.  This is the first time he's ever been pulled over.  It was at night, and the policeman shined this big light throughout Chandler's  car. HA!  You know that "sick" feeling as soon as you see those blue lights behind you?!

Anyway, it was funny....after I realized he did not get a speeding ticket!!

Shopping, Brad, & Josi

My plan for today was to shop and I did just that. For 4 hours, I shopped. I got alot done. I'm finished with my children which is the biggest part of my Christmas shopping. I have one other thing to get for Chandler's stocking. AH! It feels great to have theirs finished. I only have just a few more things for other people to get and I'll be completely done. Yah!

While I was out, I visted with Brad. He loves company, so anyone that wants to stop by to see him, that would be great.

Autumn just called and asked me to do her a favor. Actually the favor is for her best friend, Josi. Josi's parents are divorced and her dad just recently got remarried. This has devestaed her. (of course). To make a long story short, Josi's dad is flying to Kentucky by himself to be with his new wife's family. Josi gave him tons of church tracts for him to read while he was flying. She wants us to pray that the Lord will speak to his heart and intervene in his life. She wants as many people as possible to pray so she ask me to put it on my blog. So, please say a prayer for Josi's dad. Thanks!

ALOT

ALOT to pray about........ALOT!

Not too much to post about

School is officially finished until after the first of the year. Cha still has a History test. I told him to have it done by Wednesday.

Hmmmmm......

I ran 4 miles today. The Y has new treadmills. They are alittle confusing to get the hang of but they're nice.

hmmmm.....

Lets see....

Erika and family are coming in town Wednesday. I'm glad. Can't wait to see them.

I'm going Christmas shopping tomorrow. I'm gonna try to get as much finished as possible.

Morgan goes to the ortho. in the morning.

I'm SUPER excited for Wednesday night's service. We get to watch the much anticipated movie put on by our youth.

I'm gonna go visit Brad tomorrow too.

that's about it

I have to tell this story....

So, Chelsei and I had our "date" today. We had lunch at Panera, which by the way, was my first time and I must say..."yumola". We went to Goodwill after that. When we walked in I immediately saw this horrible looking coat. I said to Chels..."too bad we don't have a camera, I would so make you put that on so I could take a picture".

We started looking at the sweaters. Now, I love Goodwill and I can usally find some really cute sweaters. But, there are those that are hidious and we saw a few. Again, I said to her...."we need a camera". She said...."let's go to my house and get mine and then come back". So, we did.

We came back and first thing we put on was that oh so ugly coat. We took her pic. Next, it was my turn. I put the ugly coat on and heard....r-r-r-i-i-i-p-p-p.

This was our conversation from here.....laughing our selves to death at the same time.

Tam - "OH NO, Chels...I think I ripped it. What do I do? Should I tell them?

Chels - "I don't know...why are you asking ME....you have the Holy Ghost..your the minister"

Tam - " Yeah, but you have the Lord too, what should I do?"

****HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER***

Tam- "I've got to tell them. I cannot just leave. I will not be able to lay my head down tonight if I just leave".

We get in line so I can tell

A lady says to us...."you girls are having too much fun in here". Ah! we were!

I told Chels...."I hope they don't make me pay for that ugly coat". ha!

I tell them what happened and they were very nice about it. He said things break all the time in here, it's O.K.

It was SO funny!!!!!!! We had a blast!

You can see all the pictures we took on her facebook.

Did you see it? Did you see it?

The Snow.....

It was beautiful!!!!!! Just about the whole way to our Christmas dinner tonight for Steve's work, it snowed...HARD! Seriously, there were times on the interstate that we could only drive about 25 miles per hour. It was one of those really pretty snows. The flakes were huge. I loved it! I think we got over an inch in Smyrna.

Another good thing about the snow is that the Christmas program that Morgan was participating in tonight at her tutorial, got cancelled. It's rescheduled for next Thursday night. That means Steve and I won't have to miss it. I'm glad! Not only did the program get cancelled but tutorial classes got cancelled for tomorrow. If Rutherford County schools get cancelled, then tutorial is cancelled as well. Cha is thrilled. That means he doesnt have to take his mid-terms. At least tomorrow anyway. So, I guess that means Christmas break for him has begun. He does have a History test to take but other than that, he's done for 3 weeks. WooHoo!

Morgan has some school to do tomorrow but basically we are school free for a while. Ah! gotta love it!

Tomorrow, if the weather permits, Chelsei and I have a date. We are having lunch at Panera (never been before) and we are shopping at Goodwill! Fun stuff!

So, for now...I think I'll go to bed!
good nite

I hope....

all this rain turns to snow. Wouldn't that be great?

I don't think I'm gonna get out of the house today until I have too. Steve and I have to go to his company Christmas dinner tonight. Not our favorite thing to do, especailly for Steve. He HATES that kind of thing. But, I'm not gonna complain seeing how the Lord provided us this job. It's a blessing to be able to have a job and a Christmas dinner to go to.

One bad thing about it is that I'm gonna miss Morgan's tutorial Christmas program. That I do hate. I feel like I need to go with Steve though. She's bummed, but understands. But, I'm gonna recruit family to be there. Cha is gonna take her for us. What a brother. My parents and Les and hopefully Rick will be there. And, I'm hoping my mother in law can come.

Denise, I know you will be reading this. If you can make it also, that would be great. It's tonight at 7. Just give me a shout on facebook to let me know....thanks!

I have extra kids at the house today. Jacob and Lindsei stayed the night. That Jacob is such a doll baby. He was planning on sleeping on the couch in the bonus room. When I got up this morning and came upstairs, he was not in the bonus room. I got to looking and he was on the floor in Morgan's room. So cute! I guess he didn't want to be in a room by himself. I'm gonna miss them, all of them, when they leave for S.C.

enjoy your day!

Every where you go

This time of year, every where you go there is something to eat. Last night was the goody swap. It was super fun. Les and Kim had tons of good food. We left with tons of good goodies. I do mean tons. Les had this long table set up and it was packed full of goodies. We all took some of everything (mostly everything). So, now I have two containers sitting on my kithchen counter just waiting to be consumed. OH! Will power.... I need will power. I think I can, I think I can....

From Thanksgiving until the first of the year, there's extra food around every corner. When I went to clean for the lady that I clean for on Monday's, she had a zip lock bag sitting on her kitchen table with "Tammy" written on it. It was full of cookies....oh good grief! Thankfully, I could not eat those. They had chocoalte in them. That is sometimes my saving grace, that I cannot eat chocolate. It saves me from indulging. I brought them hope and the family enjoyed them.

Ondra had these cake balls last night. OH MY GOODNESS! She said she just simply made a cake, had all the ingredients in a bowl, mixed it all up, made balls out of them, cooked them and then dipped them in chocolate. Some she dipped in dark chocoalte and some dipped in white chocoalte. Which, by the way, she said she did some research for me and there is not cocoa in white chocolate (I assume it's the cocoa that gives me the headaches). I've wondered before about the white chocolate, if I could eat it or not. Anyway, I did eat the white cake balls and man they were sooooo good!

Well, the house is quiet. Morgan is not here. HA! Cha is still in bed. The dogs are quiet. I guess I 'll get some things done

c ya!

Tuesday, December 9, 2008

things to do, places to go, people to see

That's my day.

Morgan and I have to sit down and do Algebra. We didn't yesterday. The day got away from us, so today, we will.

She has a job today. She is cleaning Kim's house to get ready for the goody-swap tonight. Speakin of goody-swap, I'm making this new thing. I found the recipe in a magazine and it looks o-so-yummy. We'll see. If you like peanut butter, which I do...it's my favorite, then you will like this. I have to make a trip to the store to get the ingredients that I don't have.

I NEED to do some cleaning in my own house. Yep, I do.

I would really like to make a trip to the Y at some point, to work off all those goodies I will be tasting from the swap.

2 weeks from Friday is Christmas. Can you believe it?! I don't want to rush it getting here. I LOVE all the "stuff" that goes with building up to that day. The shopping, the goody-swaps, the wrapping gifts (well, that's not really my favorite), the gatherings, the play's....all of it.....I love it.

that's about it for now....gotta get Mo up for that Math, so I can get her to Kim's.

have a good one

Double Date

O.K. so...here's my day.....

I have got to take Morgan over to Amy's house at 11:00. They are finishing up their Christmas movie. Chelsei says they are staying until they finish. Shew....could be a long day for them.

From there, Steve and I are going to clean the church. It's my weekend. Amy and I alternate weekends, and it's my turn.

After cleaning the church, not really sure. Probably just come home and do stuff.

Then tonight........YAH!......... my title.....Double Date.....

Steve and me...Rick and Les are going on a double date. We are going to eat at Hickory Falls for dinner and then we are going to see a play. There is this church in Smyrna that has a really good drama department and they put on plays for the public. They really are talented. I've been to several and have really enjoyed them. Tonight we are gonna see....."It's a Wonderful Life". That's one of our favorite all time movies. How can you not love that movie?! Should be super fun!

Rick and Les are our buddies! Rick (he's my uncle, just in case you didn't know, my mom's brother)...we have ALWAYS been extra close. My entire life, we've had a bond. I'm serious. I can't explain it. Even when I was little, he and I had something special. I'm thankful for this. And, now to make it even extra special...Les and I have a "best friend" relationship. She's my sister at heart! It's SO nice to have family that are friends and friends that are family!!!!

enjoy this cold day

I've noticed

that I don't sit up straight when I'm at the computer. Bad posture.

Today has been good. Chandler and I went and got a hair cut or as Steve says..."we got them all cut"...(cheesey, I know). ha!

A couple of weeks ago, Chandler went and opened a checking out. He wanted his own debit card. While he was there, they also opened him a savings account. Well, he already had a savings account but didn't think to tell them, I guess. Anyway, last week I went to the bank for him. I had his check from chick-fil-A, a checking deposit slip and a savings deposit slip. The savings slip that I had was for the one that was already opened. The first one.

A few days later, he says to me..."mom, my checking account money is showing up in my account but my savings deposit is not. Hmmmmmm....

He had already thrown his deposit slips away (mistake, number 1) so we really had no record to prove it.

Last night as I was looking through some stuff, I realized what had happened. I didn't realize that he had opened a savings account the day he opened his checking account, causing him to have 2 savings accounts. I made the deposit into the first savings account so that is why it wasn't showing up when he was checking it online. He was checking the one he had opened. Shew....did ya get all that?

Anyway, he went to the bank today to close the first savings account and have the money that was in that one swapped over to the 2nd savings account, so now things should be straight. Man!

Les called tonight and wants to go to Kohls tomorrow. I think we are gonna do some Christmas shopping. Yah!

That's about it

Oh, wanna hear someting kinda cool....
The four of us were talking tonight and Steve asked Chandler how much he weighed now. Chandler wasn't sure so it prompted Morgan to go get the scales from my bathroom so he could weigh. She brought the scales into the family room and we each weighed oursleves. This is the cool part. We each weigh about 20 pounds apart. Steve weighs....164....Chandler weighs 146....I weigh 124 and Morgan weighs 98. We thought that was kinda cool. Oh well, doesn't take much to amuse the Fox family.....ha!

Sara Noel

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR SWEET SARA....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Hope you have a great one!

On the agenda for today

Morgan spent the night with Katie so she's not here. Chandler is still in bed. He does not have to work today. He and I need to have a really good day with that Geometry book. He talked me into not doing math yesterday. He was tired from working and promised that we could do two lessons today to make up. That boy and his procrastination when it comes to school. Oh well.....

I will do some cleaning today as I always do. When Autumn was here, I drove her nuts with the cleaning. She said it made her nervous how quick I would pick things up. HA! I didn't give the house time to get messy. What can I say?! I like a clean house.

My plan is to run at some point.

I want to go to Kohls and get one of those valour (sp?) outfits. They look kinda like a warm-up outfit but a little nicer. They are really soft and comfy. Do ya'll know what I'm talking about?

I also want to find a lighted wreath for my front door. Maybe I'll try Big Lots....maybe.

This month is already filling up fast. If I don't write down every thing, I will over lap something for sure.

I need to wrap the Christmas presents that I already have but I need wrapping paper. Maybe I'll do that when I go to Big Lots.

This post has basically just been my random thinking....can you tell?

Oh yeah, did ya'll read Morgan's "L" story? Isn't that cool?!

Tammy & Morgan Day

Today, Morgan and I have spent most of the day together. After we did Algebra and a few other things, she and I went to make the church deposit and then headed to the Y. We had a good work out. We got really tickeled as she "tried" to do sit-ups. Her head looked like a chicken or something. I don't know, it was just funny. Guess you had to be there.

From there, we went to Kroger to get some stuff, lots of stuff actually. As we were doing our grocery shopping, we both realized the coolest thing. We realized a prayer that the Lord had answered for us and we didn't even realize it. I'm not gonna tell what it is cause she's gonna post all about it and I don't want to take it from her. So, go read her blog. I don't think she's posted it just yet but I'll make sure she does before the day is over. It's really cool! Let's just say, God is so good and cares about every "L"ittle thing. (you'll get it when you read her blog)

Tonight the menu is spaghetti and salad. Quick, easy and cheap but still yummy.

After dinner I'm gonna dive into something I'm doing for this up coming Sunday night's youth service. Thank the Lord for inspiration.

Hope all is well with ya'll....it is with me!

I did it

Morgan helped me tonight and I got a facebook.  The majority was that I do it, so I did.  I've still got some learning to do but it should be fun.

***side note - I'm typing on Morgans Macbook right now and I'm SO not use to it.  I want my computer but Steve has already turned it off for the night and I didn't want to turn it back on so I grabbed hers.  I'm gonna type one sentence and not correct my errors just so you guys can see how horrible I am on this thing.....

Tonight I wnet to O'
charlery with andrea, chelsei, nd Moran.  We came back to the house and had coffee nd played Cach Phrase.  It ws a super fun niht.

OH MY WORD!!!!!

Morgan is cracking up at me right now.  I told you I could NOT type on this thing.

What I was trying to say is....

Tonight I went to O'Charleys with Andrea, Chelsei, and Morgan.  We came back to the house and had coffee and played Catch Phrase.  It was a super fun night.

Whatcha think?

I've been "considering" getting a facebook. I wondered if I'm too "old" but there are those older than me that have one....ha!

When Chandler heard me mention it, he said........"MOM....NO!" LOL!

I guess the thought of his mother having a facebook is just....weird or something. I don't want to embarrass him but......

whatcha think?
